The Student Division
The Student Division within the German-American Lawyer's Association (DAJV) is designed with the intention of bringing together young members in order for them to gain insight into US law and legal system, exchange ideas and experiences regarding how to study law in the US or how to apply for a legal internship in a US law firm. Furthermore young members may use our organization's network to learn from members with strong academic background and professional experience already working in the field of law. Students, Referendare and doctoral candidates are developing contacts on both a social and educational level by organizing lectures and workshops by their own on matters of special interest. Round tables, a Student Divisions own black board and a guest book encourage our members to interact. We hope that our Student Division will produce a dynamic, informed group of young legal professionals - Germans and Americans - who will improve future cooperation and exchange on both sides of the Atlantic. |
