As a matter of course, legislators lag behind the times in terms of numerous legal issues at the core of the digital economy, e.g. the platform economy and its myriad parts; whereas our ARIM expert group leads the curve in these matters.

Experts and interested parties from various industries exchange views on future developments on a regular and transatlantic basis. Our event participants bring diverse approaches to our discussions and meetings based on a breadth of focus paralleled by few other legal associations. This enables us to comprehensively discuss current and future legal issues in the digital age.

Additionally, comparative legal considerations touching on classic antitrust and data protection law issues augment the subject matter we explore.

During the recent Transatlantic Legal Conference #tlc 23, the working group delved into the topic of ‘Data and Merger Control.’ For #tlc24, ARIM will shift the focus to ‘Use of AI and Legal Tech in Law Firms.’
