Expert Groups

International transactional practice having a transatlantic dimension is our focus. Each spring the Transatlantic Legal Conference (TLC) gives its members and participants an excellent platform and forum to present and discuss issues central to the M&A practice.

In the M&A section workshops, case studies of German-American corporate transactions or current developments in transatlantic practice are presented and discussed. In past years, groups have been treated to expert discussion on topics such as M&A transactions in crisis, German-American preliminary proceedings, the Opel AG sales process, Fintech M&A, artificial intelligence in M&A transactions, the use of fairness opinions in the USA and Germany, and M&A activism using Celesio/McKesson as example. Indeed the M&A section is of great resource to M&A practitioners and our membership at large.
