On Thursday, 13 October 2022, the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) invited members of the DAJV to visit the U.S. military presence in the Kaiserslautern area, namely the Kleber Barracks and Ramstein Air Base. For the third time, Isabel Cagala, head of DAJV Young Professionals, organized the exciting trip. Lawyers, students and professors participated in the event, which offered once again interesting legal insights into the presence of the the U.S. Military in Germany. Undisputably, the boarding of the C-17 Globmaster III on the Ramstein Air Base was one of the highlights of the event. The U.S. Air Force invited the participants to explore every inch of the aircraft and even allowed the excited bunch of DAJV members to take a seat in the cockpit.
